ABOUT THIS POSTER.
Thirteen miles of blinding white salt, a heat haze on the horizon and a long, low streamliner chasing a number nobody had reached yet: 400 miles an hour.
This poster takes you back to the Bonneville Salt Flats at the start of the 1960s, when garage-built record cars, piston engines by the handful and pure nerve were enough to rewrite the speed books. Painted like a period event poster, it's all about the white, the light and the sense of speed.
An original design, not a scan or reprint of a historical poster — painted in the spirit of period racing art rather than copying any existing one.
