The Matterhorn rises behind Zermatt with the sun at its shoulder, over dark timber chalets, stilted barns and the white church spire, while a little rack-railway train climbs the shelf above the village and a skier sweeps across the foreground.
Drawn in the manner of the 1920s and 30s alpine lithographs: flat screen-printed colour, a geometric figure in the foreground and the altitude set beneath the name, WALLIS 1608m. An original design, not a reproduction of any historical poster.
Designed in Switzerland. Printed on premium matte 200 gsm paper, 20×25 to 50×70 cm, unframed or in a wooden frame.
