ABOUT THIS POSTER.
The two dogs most houses have had one of, on the same sheet for once: a Golden Retriever and a Labrador Retriever as head portraits in three-quarter view, each coloured the way plates were coloured by hand over engraved line, with a short typeset block giving the two breeds, their country and the year the Kennel Club recognised them. It is the plate for a home that has had both, or argues about which is better.
- Two head portraits in three-quarter view: Golden Retriever and Labrador Retriever
- Short typeset block: The Retrievers, Golden Retriever and Labrador Retriever, Britain, Since 1903
- Ivory paper tone, engraved line under translucent colour
The image is generated with AI from our researched brief, then reworked and finished by our team in Switzerland. It is an original picture, not a reproduction of any historical artwork.
