ABOUT THIS POSTER.
Aspen as it looked when skiing began: the red-brick hotel with its arched arcade in the middle of a main street of false-fronted wooden houses, the mountain behind cut with open runs through the pines, a sleigh on the snow road. In front, a skier in blue takes the slope.
Drawn in the manner of the 1920s and 30s alpine lithographs: flat screen-printed colour, a geometric figure in the foreground and the altitude set beneath the name, COLORADO 7908ft. An original design, not a reproduction of any historical poster.
Designed in Switzerland. Printed on premium matte 200 gsm paper, 20×25 to 50×70 cm, unframed or in a wooden frame.
