ABOUT THIS POSTER.
26 August 1934, the first Swiss Grand Prix, on the fast road circuit through the Bremgarten forest just outside Bern. The silver German number 6 led from start to finish; the blue French number 14 chased it home on the podium. On this poster the two come out of the forest bend side by side, the road curving away to the grandstand hung with red Swiss flags, the Minster spire and the Alps beyond.
- The silver number 6 and the blue number 14 side by side out of a forest bend
- The flag-decked grandstand, Bern Minster and the snowy Bernese Alps on the horizon
- Precise Art Deco lettering: BERN, Grand Prix Automobile, 26. August 1934; part of our Pre-War Grand Prix series
