The north face of the Eiger towers over Grindelwald, one sheer dark wall above the scattered chalets, the white church and the rack railway climbing the hillside. A skier in round period goggles carves across the snow in front.
Drawn in the manner of the 1920s and 30s alpine lithographs: flat screen-printed colour, a geometric figure in the foreground and the altitude set beneath the name, BERNER OBERLAND 1034m. An original design, not a reproduction of any historical poster.
