ABOUT THIS POSTER.
The palest of the Ragdoll colours: a lilac point cat sitting side on with the plumed tail curled round its paws, the frosty pink-grey points on a glacial white body laid as the lightest washes over engraved line, three ink head studies beneath, and a full typeset entry on the Californian cat bred in the 1960s to go limp in your arms. A portrait of the breed, not of one cat.
- Lilac point Ragdoll, seated side view, over three ink head studies: kitten, adult, adult front
- Typeset breed entry: Ragdoll, United States, Since 1966, Ann Baker and Josephine, first registered 1966, CFA 2000, weight and full colour at 3 to 4 years
- Ivory paper tone, engraved line under hand-coloured wash
The image is generated with AI from our researched brief, then reworked and finished by our team in Switzerland. It is an original picture, not a reproduction of any historical artwork.
