A grand turreted hotel stands on its wooded hill above Banff, with a cluster of chalets by the frozen river below and a horse-drawn sleigh on the snow road. Behind, the long striated wall of a Rockies peak catches a low gold sun, with dark pines on either side. In front, a skier in grey takes the slope at speed.
Drawn in the manner of the 1920s and 30s alpine lithographs: flat screen-printed colour, a geometric figure in the foreground and the altitude set beneath the name, ALBERTA 4639ft. An original design, not a reproduction of any historical poster.
