ABOUT THIS POSTER.
The great symmetric white cone of Mount Hood rises over a timber-and-stone lodge with its tall stone chimney, a steep shingle roof above the snow. A horse-drawn sleigh and two figures cross the open snow in front, with dark pines on either side under a low gold sun. A skier in green takes the slope at speed.
Drawn in the manner of the 1920s and 30s alpine lithographs: flat screen-printed colour, a geometric figure in the foreground and the altitude set beneath the name, OREGON 6000ft. An original design, not a reproduction of any historical poster.
Designed in Switzerland. Printed on premium matte 200 gsm paper, 20×25 to 50×70 cm, unframed or in a wooden frame.
