ABOUT THIS POSTER.
The two round modernist tower hotels of Sestriere stand on the plateau, a long low block between them, with a cable car crossing the slope on its line. A row of lavender peaks fills the sky behind, cut by one dark pine, under a low gold sun. In front, a skier in blue carves across the foreground.
Drawn in the manner of the 1920s and 30s alpine lithographs: flat screen-printed colour, a geometric figure in the foreground and the altitude set beneath the name, PIEMONTE 2035m. An original design, not a reproduction of any historical poster.
Designed in Switzerland. Printed on premium matte 200 gsm paper, 20×25 to 50×70 cm, unframed or in a wooden frame.
